Hardware SpecificationYour Lottery Office must be functioning 5 days a week, 52 weeks of the year and therefore there must be some redundancy in computer hardware. Ideally you should have two computers networked together so that should one computer go down you will have the other one as a backup. It is also a good idea to be able to have a second printer in case your main printer fails on say draw day. Backing up of your Lottery Data is also an important consideration and we recommend a tape drive for this purpose. Two number computers each with 2.8 GHz CPU, 512 MByte RAM, 80 GByte Hard Disk, 3.5" Floppy Disk Drive, 17 inch TFT Monitor, 54X CDROM Drive, Keyboard, Mouse, Microsoft Windows XP Pro, Microsoft Office 2003, Laser Printer (16ppm), 750MByte Zip Drive and disks, Network Cards and Cabling.
