The Community Lottery is a proven way to make a substantial financial contribution to your Organisation's funds each year. How does it Work ?You set up a Lottery Office with computer and office equipment. The staff comprises usually of a Lottery Manager and Administrators. The Lottery Manager organises all aspects of the running of a Local Lottery including Marketing, Money Collections, Office Administration, Legal Aspects and Gaming Returns. The most important aspect is finding your playing members and organising how you will collect money from them. Marketting your Lottery can be done in a variety of ways such as Leafleting, Mail Shots, Canvassing, Advertising etc. Each person who joins your Lottery is able to buy a weekly chance for £ 1.00 to win one of several money prizes. Each member is given a personnal six digit number which is used when your computer makes the draw each week. The golden rule is that every member who has paid for that week will go in the draw. You collect the money from your members by Cash (using a 1, 2 or 4 week cycle), Standing Order, Cheque or Credit Card etc. Automatic payment schemes like Standing Order and Direct Debits are the preferred route since they are usually the most efficient way to collect the money. Our Software manages all stages of the Lottery System including registration of new members, collections from existing members, carrying out the Draw, printing all reports, printing Winners cheques and keeping accounts.
